Tonight, @Jeff_Eakins was recognized with a proclamation to celebrate his 31+ yrs being a constant servant to others & an advocate for education. He was surprised when the board made a motion to name the @CypressCreekES media center after him, where he taught & grew as a leader.

UPDATE WITH A CHANGE TO WHICH TRIPS ARE CANCELED:

Based on the Mar 10 recommendation of the FL Dept of Ed, until further notice our district is canceling all planned school-sponsored trips outside the State of Florida for district-operated schools *IF they involve air travel.*

Congratulations to our incoming Superintendent Addison Davis! Our School Board hired the veteran educator who began as a teacher. He is currently Clay County Superintendent where he has helped increase the graduation rate to 91.9% and the percentage of "A" and "B" schools to 92%.
