Christopher Nolanās The Odyssey IS the Trojan Horse. Let me explainā¦
The Trojan Horse is a deception, meant to be invited in as an innocent gift & piece of art, yet it contains the elements used to destroy its receiver.
The Odyssey is portrayed as simply an adaptation of an ancient, epic poem, yet it contains subversive elements that can lead to further destruction within film/society.
Odysseus is completely deconstructed. He is no longer a witty, cunning, & wise, and powerful leader. Heās as Emily Wilson calls him in her recent liberal, feminist translation of The Odyssey, āa complicated manā - a deconstruction of the hero portrayed in the source material, prior to Wilsonās rewrite.
Women are seen as victims, never the villains. Theyāre powerful, as if Nolan is purposely trying to shame/take down the patriarchyā¦
- Clytemnestra is a victim who simply takes vengeance against Agamemnon. They try to justify her affair and the murder of her husband instead of showcasing her lack of loyalty destroying the juxtaposition between her and Penelope who remains loyal to Odysseus for DECADES.
- Helen of Troy is the victim of an abusive marriage with Menelaus, which leaves her scared.
- The witch Circe paints all men as āpigsā at their core.
- Penelope talks about taking the throne, while calling her son weak and unworthy.
*None of these depictions are faithful to the source material that has been passed down for millennia.
This movie is loved by many, yet it includes many liberal ideologies those people fight against.
The diverse casting is an overt distraction, and political message. Nolan has duped hundreds of thousands of movie goers into believing these casting donāt matter in the grand scheme. Itās a slippery slope to welcome in more trans actors/actresses and race-swaps in future films.
This movie is accepted by many who have fought against the Trojan horses in our society that have ruined homes, schools, churches, relationships, and business. People are lost in a 3+ hour lotus flower of a movie that is objectively a desecration of western societyās quintessential story of the heroās journey.
Subversion of the source material is what has ruined so many IPs, franchises, and adaptations over the last decade, especially.
The acceptance and embrace of this film will only lead to more subversive works. Nolan has duped society into believing poems like Homerās The Odyssey can be downplayed as ājust a fantasyā, which downplays the poem as āup for interpretationā to its core, so it can be destroyed with the insertion of modern political ideologies.
That line of thinking presents the source material, the intended core motivation of its characters, and the message ingrained in the story that has made it last for thousands of years, not as something to be faithful to, but something to be molded into our own modern image. Nolan is now elevated above Homer, unlike Peter Jackson, whose motivation was to honor Tolkien in his adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.
This movie is the 1619 Project of Homerās work. Itās presenting a different story, and redesigned characters, in order to redefine what made The Odyssey so compelling & long-lasting in the first place.
Itās now a story about āwelcoming the stranger.ā An allegory seemingly for immigration and sanctuary cities š¤¦š¼āāļø
As this film is paraded into the walls of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood for the Academy awards, Elliot Page will be treated like a hero, maybe even nominated for an award, and it will be used as a weapon to further destroy foundational works of art, just like Amazon has done to Lord of the Rings, Disney has done to Star Wars and Snow White, HBO to Harry Potter, etc.
The acceptance of this film is what will lead to further adaptations that empower directors, writers and studios into subversive retellings and propaganda-filled revisionist histories that work to upend foundational aspects of western culture.
If that happens, we can only blame ourselvesā¦
Nolan's The Odyssey isn't Homer's, it's Nolan's. It doesn't bend but breaks the foundation of who Odysseus is. By Nolan taking away Odysseus's hubris and pride, he rewrites the entire moral landscape of the tale.
In Homer's poem, Odysseus is suffering from a lethal dose of vanity. The gods, particularly Poseidon, are putting a check on his arrogance. He's a man who much needs learn humility before he can touch his home soil again.
Nolan's version is a man broken by a meat grinder war and gets tossed around a cold universe. His story is of endurance. He's just trying to survive. He's a man who believes his own soul is too corrupted to return to civilization. This all flips the entire architecture of Homer's Odyssey.
Odysseus greatest triumph, the use of the Trojan Horse, is now his greatest shame in Nolan's Odyssey. It less about the gods punishing him, and his psychological inability to reach Ithaca.
This is exactly why Nolan's Odysseus is humorless beyond belief. He can't stand that he can deceive so many so well. Every lie he conjures takes him further away from Ithaca.
By centering guilt and unworthiness on Odysseus, Nolan dilutes the character to singular symbol of the guilt-ridden soldier.
This characterization of Nolan's Odysseus actually ruins his third act. What did Odysseus learn from being a guilt-ridden, deceitful soldier? Well, it's best to kill 'em all and lie to them before I do it.
The ending to Nolan's Odyssey is a relapse, not a resolution. His Odysseus has learned nothing on his journey. Now it's time for him and Penelope to abandon their posts. Cue the Dark Knight Rises theme. Michael Caine nods at the two of them. Roll credits.
If a corporator thinks itās okay to beat up a doctor, then the next time thereās a pothole in a road in his area, is it okay to beat him?
Asking for several friends
Carlos Whittaker did a 7.5-week no-screen experiment and the results are wild.
No phone. No TV. No laptop. No watch. Nothing. He even got his brain scanned before and after by a neuroscientist.
The outcome? His cerebellum healed years worth of damage in just seven weeks. His cognitive memory score jumped from the 50th percentile to the 99th percentile of adult men in America. He said he felt like a completely different human, sharper, clearer, more alive.
This one stopped me in my tracks. Iāve been feeling the scroll fatigue hard lately, and hearing someone actually measure the difference with real brain scans is next-level motivating.
Our constant screen exposure might be doing more quiet damage to our brains than we realize. Sometimes the simplest reset (doing less) creates the biggest upgrade.
Have you ever done a serious digital detox? Would you try one this extreme?
Bollywood bias!
A study by IIM Prof. Dheeraj Sharma analyzing films from 1960 to 2010 reveals a fixed code of demographic stereotypes:
> 58% of corrupt politicians were given Brahmin surnames.
> 62% of corrupt businessmen were associated with Vaishya surnames.
> 84% of Muslim characters were portrayed as strongly honest and religious.
> 78% of Christian women were hyper-sexualized and portrayed as promiscuous.
> 74% of Sikh characters were reduced to mere comic relief.
> 90% of films featuring Pakistan projected them as welcoming and courteous.
Cinema is not just reflecting reality, but it is actively shaping our biases.
What are your thoughts on this?
Cinema has long been considered the "mirror of society," reflecting the aspirations, anxieties, and cultural nuances of a nation. However, when the reflection consistently distorts specific demographics, it ceases to be a mirror and becomes a tool for socio-psychological engineering.Ā
Research conducted by Professor Dhiraj Sharma of IIM Ahmedabad, for the period between 1960 and 2010, provides a startling quantitative look at how Bollywood utilises demographic coding, associating specific castes, religions, and nationalities with fixed moral archetypes.Ā
By analysing these data points, it becomes clear that Bollywood often relies on "heuristic shortcuts" that reinforce social biases rather than challenge them.
One of the most profound findings in Professor Sharmaās research is the consistent association of moral corruption with specific Hindu caste surnames.
> According to the data, in the films sampled, 58% of corrupt politicians were given Brahmin surnames, and 62% of corrupt businessmen were given Vaishya surnames.
> Conversely, characters with Kshatriya surnames were presented as courageous 88% of the time. and 84% of Muslim characters were portrayed as strongly religious and honest.Ā
This demographic coding creates a subconscious expectation in the audience; the villain is not defined by his actions alone, but by a surname that signals his "type" before the plot even unfolds.
Finally somebody in Bollywood gathered the spine to show reality & spark a conversation society has conveniently buried for years - the silent destruction countless men are enduring behind closed doors because of false accusations !!!
We have normalised mocking male suffering to such an extent that the moment a man speaks about emotional abuse, false accusations, legal harassment, depression, social humiliation or mental breakdowns, he is instantly ridiculed, dismissed, or told to āman up.ā
Since when did empathy become conditional? Since when did justice become gender-specific? And the most horrifying part? Even if an innocent man eventually proves his innocence, society never apologises.
The trauma remains.
The humiliation remains.
The damage remains.
Sometimes, the man himself does not
This is why a movie like #Bandar is so so important!

A man had wrapped the key to his ā¹12 lakh car in aluminum foil.
At first, people thought maybe the key was damaged or someone was using a local hack.
But everyone was shocked when they heard the real reason.
He said, 'These days, cars are getting stolen without breaking them.'
Because now thieves do not break locks; they capture signals.
Nowadays, keyless cars continuously keep a signal connection with their key.
As soon as the key comes near, the car automatically unlocks.
But in a relay attack, thieves capture the signal of the key kept inside the house using one device,
and send the same signal to the car using another device.
The car thinks the key is nearby and quietly unlocks.
This is where this ordinary aluminum foil comes in handy.
Because the foil blocks the signal and the key's wireless signal cannot go outside.
That is, ā¹10 foil can save a car worth lakhs multiple times.
Now many people have started keeping the key inside a drawer instead of near the door,
and some people are also using signal-blocking pouches worth ā¹500-ā¹1000.
Writers & actors built careers on propaganda, and the industry stayed quiet like cats. Now the same clan mock Dhurandhar. You donāt get to call yourself liberal if your first instinct is to Mock.
Donāt know when truth started getting labeled as propaganda...... strange times.
COMING TO THE POINT.....
I want to tell @AdityaDharFilms & @RanveerOfficial yeh kaala drishti aise nahi jaayega... Muthi bhar ke laal mirch se kaam nahi chalega.... poora khet jalana padega š„

Ujjwal Nikamās interview with Hussain Zaidi is a terrifying look at how deep the rot went during 26/11.
To hear that #Delhi wanted to limit Ajmal Kasabās chargesheet to just CST and Cama hospital, ignoring the larger Pakistani conspiracy, is proof of a deliberate attempt to protect the handlers across the border.
Nikam confirmation that there was pressure from Delhi to 'simplify' the case against Kasab is a slap in the face to every victim. By trying to exclude the LeT handlers and the ISI link from the initial plan, Congress wanted the masterminds go scot-free.
āāIf then Mumbai CP Hassan Gafoor and Nikam hadn't stood their ground, the world would have never seen the full face of state-sponsored terror.
This is why the Congress can never be trusted with national security.
Never forget.
Never forgive.
I DON'T HAVE ANY SYMPATHY FOR HER!
She's Former Miss India Earth contestant Sayali Surve.
Married Atif against her family's wishes. Converted to I$Ā£am wilfully.
Unsurprisingly, Atif abused her day in day out for 10 yrs.
Now she has separated & returned back to Hinduism. Admits Love Jih@d exists.
One more lesson for bewqoof girls who still believe 'Mera Abdu£ aisa nahi hai'!
Why No Sympathy from me? Your parents raised you like a 'princess' showering all love & comforts while taking all hardships upon themselves and then one day you yourself make a wrong decision without trusting your parents judgement, inspite of knowing 'Love Jih@d' exists, give unbearable pain to your parents & then come back realising your 'mistake'....Sorry. I'm not sympathetic to 'such' girls.
I may be wrong, but I don't sympathise. Sorry.
The woman on the right side: Maryam Rafiei. The woman on the left side: Sahar Mohammadi.
After the revolution and the Islamic Republic was established, Maryam Rafiei was executed (beheaded) by the regime around 1989 or during the 1988 mass executions of political prisoners. Sahar Mohammadi fled Iran and lives in exile in Sweden to this day.
