So proud of the transfusion team (including me) working with IM&T in persevering In getting blood tracking at NBT to ensure safer and easier to track blood in our hospital. Well done for a smooth transition for phase 1 of the project and sorry I wasn’t with you all. #One_NBT

Yesterday we launched phase 1 of a new BloodTrack system, with blood units now being electronically tracked around Southmead Hospital. Besides removing paperwork, at the heart of this change is patient safety. Another chapter in the digital transformation of @NorthBristolNHS.
