We love seeing the MathUp resource in action! This task further reinforces the power of the area model for students. Each rectangle really helps us to SEE the factors and multiples of each number. Love the idea of using the same area to identify common multiples. @rubiconpubs

This area model is so powerful for multiplication-especially when we let students choose how to partition (starting with what they know/are comfortable with). A great visual for these partial products!
