@KatherineLawrey @IsraelTourism Just back - 3 nights in Jerusalem & 1 night in Tel Aviv (which wasn’t long enough) - I would urge everyone to go, it’s an amazing country - particularly loved the architecture, hotels, restaurants & artisan stores in TA… there’s also something fantastic about a city on a beach!

@Willhide Plus rising prices in general? In the last recession, shops in the Cotswolds told me day trippers stopped coming because non-essential outings (with associated fuel, meal & attraction costs) were the first thing folk cut back on.
