@South_Pennines @PBridleway @NationalTrails Mary Towneley was an inspiration to me as a child, introducing me to many of the packhorse trails across the South Pennine Moors, she encouraged me to be brave and to ride on public bridleways, despite blocked paths and resistant landowners. Great woman.
