The good news for $HIMS and $ENHA is that at these prices they don’t need peptides to become mainstream for them to work out.
But if peptides do go mainstream, I consider a 10x to be relatively conservative of an outcome.
🚨 $HIMS OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON PEPTIDES
Progress on a Safer Pathway for Peptide Access
Written by Dr. Anant Vinjamoori
"Over the last two days the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) has been reviewing seven peptides for potential inclusion on the 503A Bulk Drug Substances List, and has recommended advancing six of the compounds discussed. That recommendation now goes to the FDA for formal consideration.
We’re grateful to Secretary Kennedy and President Trump for allowing this important conversation regarding peptides to take place, and look forward to the FDA's formal decision on all peptides under review. We remain committed to building the care system this category deserves."
$HIMS selling off after the POSITIVE Peptides meeting changes nothing to my thesis. On the contrary.
$HIMS dropped below the 200 DMA and the 50 DMA and moved down to the 0.5 fib level at $28.84.
Let's see if it holds here or if it still moves lower to the 0.618 fib level.
ZERO changes to this chart.
After we get through this, I still expect $HIMS to move to its Wave 5 target.
Q2 earnings report is 2 weeks away.
Sorry Martin but shorting $HIMS because of peptides is like shorting $AMZN because of rockets.
It literally doesn’t matter. It’s all upside that’s not priced in in the slightest.
Today’s price decline is proportional to how misunderstood $HIMS is.
The market doesn’t know whether it’s a GLP-1 company, a peptide company or something else.
The asymmetry is vast as AI and consumer biotech come together and $HIMS becomes $COST for longevity.
Peptides are a revolutionary new healthcare platform
Incumbents are intelligent enough to understand it, but they have the short term incentives to pretend it doesn’t exist
It’s deflationary to a system that manages symptoms instead of healing at the root, which is what peptides do
Further, most of the value will not accrue to the peptides themselves, but to the data layer that is able to personalize peptides for anyone at a marginal cost to maximize healthcare outcomes
The above is the basis for longevity as a service, which will be far more valuable than any subscription service we’ve see to date. It’ll make Amazon look irrelevant and consumers will do everything in their power to continuously buy into longevity upgrades for themselves and their loved ones
