Teachers go 0 and 2 this year in the Floorball games vs the Student All-Stars losing a close second game to the Boys 2-1. Teachers have started their training for next year.

The Girls All-Star team once again defated the Teachers Team in a close 4-3 floorball game. This is the first year any students team has won both matches against the Teachers. #SchoolSpirit

A new Floorball Intramural season is among us, let's take a look at our teams for this season.

The Boys All-Star team fought hard but couldn't hold off the Teachers, losing a close game 13-10. Our final game of the year will see the Boys All-Stars take on the Girls All-Stars on Thursday.

The Girls All-Star team shocked the Teachers today and defeated them 10-7. The Teachers suffered their first-ever loss today but hope to bounce back tomorrow against the Boys All-Star team.

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 Boys and Girls Handball Champions. Los Locos defeated the Sea Pickles to capture the boy's side and Thunder Buddies defeated Animal Squad on the girls. Great job to all teams and we look forward to next season. #HESHandball

The boy's Handball Finals have been set. The Los Locos defeated the number 1 ranked Goof Troop in a big upset in semi-final 1. Semi-final 2 saw the number 2 seed The OG Squad lose to The Sea Pickles. Good luck to our two remaining teams.

HES Handball League would like to recognize a few outstanding players from our regular season, share our final standings/stats, and take a look at our playoff schedule.

Week 5 & 6 Update: The regular season is coming to an end with games finishing Wednesday. Playoffs will begin Thursday with a champion being crowned by the end of the month. Good luck to all teams as we finish the handball season!

Thank you to the Hamiota Golf Course for hosting 14 excited grade 5 students today! It was an afternoon well spent.

HES and Jump Rope for Heart joined forces to raise money for the Heart and Storke Foundation. As of today the students have nearly doubled their goal and raised a new record of $5,721 to help those with Heart conditions.

Today we saw the Teacher team lose their first ever intramural game vs the Boys All-Star floorball team. It was a close battle but the students were able to shut the door and hold onto a 3-2 victory.

The 2022-2023 Floorball season has come to an end.
This season saw:
Two teams go undefeated.
Five upsets in the playoffs.
Six playoff games go to overtime.
All said and done, two teams came out on top:
