@SkyHelpTeam Any news on the continued outages in Leics, just south of Loughborough? We’ve had fractional service for the last four days - your services plus Talk Talk, NOW and others all affected. No one seems to be able to get a straight answer as to when engineers will fix it.
@SkyUK Any news on the broadband outage in Leics? Ours has dropped out three times in recent weeks and has now been off for about an hour. An update would be helpful.
@Se_Railway Can you give me some advice? Am arriving into St. Pancras in 45 minutes (self, wife and our two dogs). We have tickets through to Ramsgate. Is there any way of achieving that? Don’t care if it’s slow, but we do need to complete the journey.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I have done another book. It features what might have been (but wasn’t) a terrible manslaughter, a ghost, two misbehaving dogs, the most tolerant spouse ever to walk the earth, and a slow motion mid life crisis.

@Khan4Labour Not really one for you, I know, but my wife spotted a pony deep in flood water in a field just before Loughborough station this morning. Did our best to alert people, but others reported too. Any news? Appreciate it's a tough day.
Pale Blue Dot is a photo of Earth that was taken by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990 from a distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) as it was leaving our solar system. This is what Carl Sagan said about the photo:
"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor, and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every 'superstar,' every 'supreme leader,' every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there — on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.”
Ladies and Gentlemen - I have done a book:

Every penny after Amazon's cut goes to charity - you can read more about that in the opening to the book (which is free to read on the website).
Love and peace - Chris J Cox (Author)
@Hot_Toast Quite so. At least Truss will (you imagine) be able to behave herself with some decorum at the funeral. Johnson would be necking sherry and goosing any passing female caterers.
There has been more scribbling, should you be thirsting for a few pages of collected ramble on food, eating, and times gone by: https://t.co/ob56S3O9yD
