Attended the @BHFScotland Desmond Julian Lecture, delivered by Prof John McMurray: “The Fight Against Heart Failure – How One Small Country Has Made a Difference.”
He highlighted Scotland’s remarkable contributions to #heartfailure research, from pioneering trials to evidence-based treatments that have transformed care worldwide. A fitting tribute to Desmond Julian & to Prof McMurray himself, truly deserving of this honour for his leadership & impact.
We all have a role: delivering proven treatments for patients, working with partners to design new trials & engaging in advocacy & policy to keep driving progress.
Thanks to @TheBHF for an inspiring event
