The problem is these types of vocalizations get tangled in webs of multiple names (excited, complex, extended, nocturnal, etc), so it becomes very hard to look for papers on this topic.
Twitter family, help! Anyone know of publications that look into complex, excited, or nocturnal songs in sparrows? I have found VERY few papers on these types of vocalizations. Thanks so much!
Are you interested in conducting behavioral research in an AZA-accredited zoo (perhaps as part of your graduate work)? If so, the Behavioral Scientific Advisory Group's new resource may be useful: #zoo#animalbehavior#research
