@TVietor08 @brhodes @PowerUSAID The government passed this legislation with the goal of encouraging big tech to pay for news content. Instead, Meta and Google are ceasing to use Canadian news links. As the editor of a small, grant and sponsor funded news room, this is a punch in the gut. p/2
