Momentum for fines & fees reform is growing in states both red & blue. Last month, Oklahoma's Senate unanimously approved a bill to end a range of fines & fees. The bill would also end the state's reliance on fines & fees revenue to fund court operations. https://t.co/gscBoNwlcp

DC law currently bans residents from receiving or renewing driver’s licenses if they have $100+ in outstanding debt to the District.
I support @CouncilofDC proposals to end this practice, which would ease burdens on our low-income neighbors and help to build a more equitable DC.
