@stoolpresidente Dave-Simply put, if you believe Bitcoin will be around ( I do) as it's now embedded in our traditional finance institutional platforms, think about scarcity.
21,000,000 bitcoin. Period.
Don't know when.
MSTR preferred's are broken. There. I said the obvious.
As an investor, I am cringing but adding.
Broken yes.
But, it can be fixed.
Just pay the dividends. In time, it can heal itself.
Until then, all the negative comments and press are warranted, and truth be told, these are grossly underperforming.
Except for the yield!!!!!
And that's why I bought them.
Pay the dividends . Period.
@AbrisGains It did NOT reduce arterial plaque by 36%
It reduced carotid plaque by 36%
More studies needed to test any reduction of arterial plaque especially hard calcium plaque in arteries.
STRK $60
Yield now 13.3% Fixed
So long as they pay their dividend. Plus, the potential Cap Gain if/when it goes to Par.
But forgetting about any Cap gain......13.3% yield.
Cumulative.
@hillery_dan Truth be told, I read and follow many in this space. Learned a lot. Still learning HOWEVER, one thing I learned and practice.
I believe in Bitcoin, and I believe MSTR will pay the preferred's. Same with ASST.
During this past dip, added to my fixed preferreds.
Almost always, when leverage is used, opposing forces (short and long) can and will find ways to exacerbate or exaggerate the opportunity created. The liquidation events are predictable.
A post mortem should be able to determine where the "embolism or aneurysm" occurred.
The depth of the "stroke" and EOD recovery somewhat indicated the patient will survive. But, has the patient passed the stress test?
@JoshMandell6
MSTR sells convertibles and stock rises exponentially.
Saylor decides the convertible buyers are shorting as a hedge.
MSTR stock price tops out post split.
ETFs get SEC approval.
The world is about to all own bitcoin.
Bitcoin dips.
MSTR starts flywheel approach selling Preferred shares and common stock left, right and no regard for PPS for Mnav.
Bitcoin treasury companies born and join in the fun.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin continues to dip, but remains at roughly $60,000.
So more and more "entities" are buying bitcoin, yet it continues to struggle.
There's something, well, a lot missing from this puzzle.
We "should" be much higher.
I know, an over simplification..........
Nice analysis and explanation Adrian. Been my take and I believe, over time, the payment of dividends will be the only/best way to address this market action/sentiment. Saylor and the team at Strive have one mission with respect to the flywheel infrastructure they created. Pay the dividends AND build confidence.
When in panic mode, you have many chances to screw yourself.
Mr. Saylor only has ONE obligation: to pay the dividend.
I imagine he is rolling his eyes and chuckling.
@jacksdiningroom You’re there but it’s off season so the crabs are imported. Not Joes stone claws. Yes the fried chicken is very good and best value on the menu. The key lime pie is top notch’s. Overall the restaurant is good but not the most famous.
