Tesla's new Roadster just flew over five Teslas. Literally.
Tonight, almost nine years after the car was first shown, Tesla unveiled the second-generation Roadster from a SpaceX test site in McGregor, Texas. Elon Musk, design chief Franz von Holzhausen and engineering VP Lars Moravy ran the livestream.
The demo was pure spectacle. Using fans and thrusters, the Roadster drove up an inverted ramp, spun and landed. While moving, it lifted over a Cybercab, Cybertruck, Semi, Model Y and Model 3. Moravy said it uses 10 nozzles fed by 600 liters of refillable compressed air. Tesla also showed 0-60 mph in one second.
Musk called it "better than any James Bond car," but admitted he's "not sure it moves the needle massively from a revenue standpoint."
The catch: no price, and production isn't promised until 2028. The original Roadster was first shown in 2017 with deliveries promised for 2020, and buyers paid big deposits before years of delays. Reservations just reopened at $50,000.

The GTA VI launch trailer just dropped, and the price debate is back.
Rockstar's new trailer, starring Jason and Lucia in the Florida-inspired state of Leonida, hit 32M+ views today. The game arrives Nov 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, more than a decade after GTA V and after multiple delays.
The catch: Take-Two set the standard edition at $79.99, breaking the long-standing $69.99 ceiling for big releases. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition adds exclusive vehicles, weapons and apparel, plus five shops, including a tattoo parlor and a contraband hub. And physical copies are a download code in a box.
One NYU Stern professor calls $80 "a rounding error against the anticipation." Some fans worry it's a preview of more paid extras.
Is $79.99 fair after a 10+ year wait, or the moment $80 becomes the new standard? Would you pay $100 for the Ultimate Edition? Reply below 👇 and follow for more.

Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar's home and seized her phone, three weeks before the midterms.
DOJ says the search on Monday was backed by a judge-approved warrant in an ongoing criminal investigation. Investigators are examining whether Omar or her late father misstated facts on decades-old immigration papers, including her birth date. More than a dozen grand jury subpoenas have gone out, some to relatives. The WSJ reports the probe aims to build a case for stripping her citizenship.
Omar has not been charged. She calls it an attempt "to target political enemies and weaponize law enforcement" and says she will "not be silenced." Trump says he "had nothing to do with" it and that it's "up to the DOJ."
DOJ's own guidelines say prosecutors should never time actions to affect an election.
If old immigration papers were falsified, should citizenship be on the table? Or is a probe this close to an election a line DOJ shouldn't cross? Reply below 👇 and follow for more.

Manchester City have been found guilty on 114 of 115 Premier League financial charges.
An independent commission found City used "sham contracts" to disguise more than £830M in secret funding, and "made concerted efforts to stop and frustrate" the investigation.
City are appealing, citing "clear material errors." Possible sanctions range from points deductions and fines to, in extreme cases, expulsion.
What's the right punishment: points deduction, transfer ban, or expulsion from the Premier League? Reply below 👇 and follow for more.
Trump is claiming executive privilege to keep his Kennedy Center communications secret.
The White House says they're protected presidential communications. Rep. Joyce Beatty, who sued over the center's renaming and planned two-year closure, calls the claim "unprecedented."
The catch: Trump is the center's board chairman, the first sitting president in that role. A judge will now weigh whether privilege reaches that far.

A satirical Ziwe interview with streamer Hasan Piker has become a Michigan Senate issue.
Asked if he always wanted to be a "champagne socialist," Piker said "yes" and confirmed his California house cost $2.7M. Republicans are now using it against Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed, who campaigned with Piker.
El-Sayed: "We had him to Michigan once." Piker says he's "making a mistake" distancing himself, and that the real issue is cost of living.

Trump's "energy ceasefire" between Russia and Ukraine has collapsed after just a few days.
Trump announced it Oct 11, but neither side officially confirmed agreeing. Ukraine paused refinery strikes for 3 days while Russia kept hitting Ukraine's power grid.
Today Zelensky said the pause is over: "We're done." Drones then hit a Rosneft refinery in Ryazan, about 5% of Russia's refining capacity.
Was an energy ceasefire ever realistic without both sides signing on? 👇
The US has sanctioned Cuba's state-owned Banco Internacional de Comercio (BICSA) for providing services to Iran's Karafarin Bank, which has been under US sanctions since 2022.
Foreign companies, including banks, have until Nov 14 to wind down dealings with BICSA.
It's the latest in a series of US sanctions on Cuba and Iran this fall. Secretary Rubio says the administration won't tolerate hostile foreign operations within 100 miles of the US.
Will more sanctions change anything on the island, or just squeeze ordinary Cubans? 👇
OpenAI just dropped 722 AI-written math papers in a single day.
Only 162 have Lean-verified main results. 3 were withdrawn within 24 hours.
Fields medalist Hugo Duminil-Copin says it "annihilated" his field, and he cried seeing years of open questions answered by a machine.
Breakthrough, or strip mining of math? And who checks AI science at this scale?

JPMorgan just drew a hard line: outside AI agents can't log into Chase accounts or move your money.
CEO Jamie Dimon says rogue agents are too risky. Read-only data is fine, payments aren't.
Should banks gatekeep agents, or open up with better safeguards?
AI demand is so hot that ASML, maker of the machines behind the most advanced chips, says it can't fully keep up in 2027 or 2028.
Record Q3: €11.7B in sales. Some customers already want to order for 2030.
