@guardsmaxxing Hoby Milner

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@Razorfin_Hunter @pitchingspecial Ur kinda half right bc the trend has been having a deep bag of fastballs along with a deep bag in general. Schlittler is the ultimate example. Mixing fastball cutter sinker can put hitters thru hell while also not throwing anything that could have a predictable shape like a curve

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@thejagepage Not bad at all but I don’t see FO wanting to have both Dominguez’ and Senzatela’s contract in the bullpen

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@NumanThabit almost, just gotta get my bunker in argentina ready

Not *every* pitch affected by a 8-9 mph difference. Comprehensive data only started to be collected in ‘08. “Everyone threw 7-8 mph harder” is one extrapolation being used as a league wide correction

@iamrags @DCHard21 @TheRealJHair @shegone03 @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @MoVaughn_42 @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @mikepiazza31 @KevinKennedyMLB It’s incredibly unreliable and purely anecdotal to use the eye test with velo. It doesn’t beat data.
You also kinda just conceded the point by indirectly saying pitchers throw harder nowadays.

@BeigeHexagon @LxD22duud @Sutchiun @aniggacalledxe You mean cylinder?

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@PitcherList You have a blue checkmark so it’ll be funnier if you tweet it again

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@rajsingh2086 @FishOnTop914 @VinnyYep @shegone03 @MLB Against teams with winnings records in the regular season: 1.85 ERA over 96.2 innings, 137Ks, 28BBs, WHIP under 0.9

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@proctorp7 @Hayden__Shearer @shegone03 @MLB Yeah it’s pretty disappointing

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@blephin_ Thank you tump

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@JRedDubDeuce There isn’t a serious scout in baseball that doesn’t still highly value bat control. You people constantly are arguing with strawmen.

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@RaiderPat33 @BUDDYHEAD_ Bungle and Nickatina fan is so fucking based

@MatthewNichol5 @shegone03 @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @MoVaughn_42 @DMEASrecruiting League wide ERA was lower throughout Hunters career than Reuschel. So despite Reuschel pitching to a higher career ERA, he was better at preventing runs *relative to his peers/league average replacement* than Hunter. 100 more innings helps too albeit not by a whole lot.

[dorian @HOFrBryanWoo]

@shegone03 fryedaddy self own you love to see it

@xElitexDonx @MarinersSteve This team is ass so idek why I’m arguing but 30SB would’ve been the leader of like 19 other teams
