Nurses and care home staff don't want to be the police. 99% of people will be sensible but the 1% ruin it & will kill hundreds. /3

@LBC @TomSwarbrick1 for one hour each day. It's been a nightmare. People refusing to leave. Someone who had a birthday party in the corridor with a dozen other people because they weren't allowed onto the ward.

Most shocking of all we had three people last week who ignored 2/3

I work on an NHS ward caring for cancer and dialysis patients, some of the most vulnerable for covid. We allow one visitor a day /1

@TomSwarbrick1 @LBC Speaking as a white person with mental health issues, if the police tell you to do something, you do it or suffer the consequences. I'm not sure if it is racism, just the police prefer to eschew deference if you are perceived as weak.

Well publicised that there is an avalanche of GP cancer referrals nationwide. Sure those with potential cancer are grateful.
