I thought naming my clothing brand would take a week.

It took 13 months.👇

I went through entire foreign dictionaries.
tried every name generator.
spent hours on chatgpt digging for words nobody else was using.

A few times I thought I had it.
I’d buy domains, start picturing the logo—
then find out the name was already taken.
or it just didn’t feel right.

Crazy how something as small as a name
can eat up so much energy when you’re starting a brand.

But eventually, one word stuck: Veli
latin for “of the sail.”
and it felt right in my gut.

Learned that if you put enough time + energy into something, the right thing will eventually find you.

Anyone else obsess over a name like this?

As I step into a new chapter building @VeliClothing, I want to honor the one that shaped me.

Athlete Nation helped me find my voice in a time I needed it most.

Forever grateful to everyone who was part of it. My heart is full. 🙏
