I knew this conversation was inevitably going to circle back to Palestine. You can’t seriously talk about terrorism while completely ignoring Israel’s existence and its central role in all of this.
🚨 WTF?! Top congressman Thomas Massie confirms US fighter jets were launched to save the USS Liberty from the Israeli attack, but Washington inexplicably recalled them.
The Pentagon intentionally abandoned their own men for 17 hours to protect Zionist regime! Total betrayal.
Based on Mr. Aoun's comments, one would think it's Iran that has occupied 1/5 of Lebanon, displaced 1/4 of Lebanese and bombing his country on daily basis.
Had Lebanon been bargaining chip for Iran, we'd have a deal long ago.
Save Lebanon from your real foe, Mr. President.
I respond to Muhammed Ali aka The Muslim Lantern in regards to his claim that Muslim women are forbidden from doing public dawah...

The claim that Muslim women cannot engage publicly online contradicts clear Prophetic precedent. In Sahih al-Bukhari 6228, a woman from Khath’am publicly sought a fatwa from the Prophet ﷺ during Hajj al-Wida’, asking if she could perform Hajj for her elderly father; he affirmed without reprimand. Similarly, Hind bint ‘Utba interjected boldly in the post-conquest bay’ah gathering (Bukhari 7161), questioning conditions and her husband’s conduct, met with patient guidance.
Asma bint Yazid spoke as women’s representative before companions, eloquently advocating their share in rewards; the Prophet ﷺ praised her. Al-Khansa’ recited poetry publicly in his presence, encouraged with “Hiya ya Khansa’!” (seerah sources). Women questioned him directly on Eid (Bukhari 304) and in teaching sessions (Bukhari 2658, 101), all without rebuke for purposeful discourse.
These sahih narrations establish that dignified, beneficial public speech by women for fatwa, advocacy, and education is modeled in the sunnah. Regarding Quran 33:33 and the instruction to “stay in your homes,” most scholars hold that this verse was specific to the Prophet’s wives. Even there, the qira’at of “waqar” from “qirna” emphasizes being in a state of peace and dignity rather than strict confinement. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, found her own exceptions through public scholarly engagement and other roles.
In our era, the maslaha (public interest) of female scholars, educators, and role models online is evident: guiding sisters, countering fitnah with knowledge, and fostering community resilience. Denying this deprives the ummah of half its potential. We cannot complain about feminism while restricting conservative women, thereby pushing them toward it.
Those issuing blanket prohibitions on women online must reflect: many lack formal ijaza or scholarly depth, and personal motivations such as competitiveness, cultural rigidity, or jealousy often eclipse textual balance. True fiqh prioritizes appropriate speech over erasure. Let Prophetic sunnah guide us over unqualified opinions.

Sophisticated web of Israeli influence operations designed to manipulate public discourse in Canada exposed in damning report
——
A damning report by Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East has exposed a sophisticated web of Israeli influence operations designed to subvert Canadian sovereignty and manipulate public discourse. The findings reveal that Tel Aviv is operating with near total impunity on Canadian soil by utilizing secretly funded polling, biased media narratives, and the hiring of local legal firms to protect the interests of illegal settlements. While Ottawa has historically targeted nations like China and India for so-called foreign interference, it has remained conspicuously silent as Israeli agents bypass transparency laws to sway government policy and public opinion.
The scale of the deception includes the deployment of a mass disinformation campaign spearheaded by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs which utilized artificial intelligence and fake websites to spread Islamophobic rhetoric. Beyond digital manipulation, the report highlights a broader strategy of transnational repression where Israeli officials have openly called for the restriction of Canadian civil liberties to stifle pro-Palestine advocacy. This systemic interference involves the use of high tech spyware and "propaganda junkets" that use Canadian proxies to shield the Israeli state from the disclosure requirements usually mandated for foreign lobbying.
The advocacy group is now demanding that the Canadian government abandon its double standards and treat Israel as a rogue state actor. The recommendations include the immediate expulsion of Israeli diplomats, a total ban on Israeli manufactured spyware, and the implementation of sanctions against those involved in these clandestine campaigns.
