@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 One of Ticketmaster’s agents confirmed today that they are placing transfer restrictions on entire accounts now, even if Persona is complete.
Even if you have shows in New York, Illinois, etc., you will now receive a “Transfer Unavailable” error.
@TMFanSupport@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 Why on earth does your support team now just stop responding mid-conversation? And why are some accounts now transfer restricted even after passing persona checks? @saumil
@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 Lastly, this is AFTER persona has been fully completed with a passport and biometric scan well ahead of the expiration date they set.
So now they are banning transfer on entire accounts without communicating during the purchase process even if you’re verified.
@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 I know many people who have started having this issue within the last week and customer support confirmed there’s a transfer ban on the account (in a few instances) as a whole so it’s not a technical glitch / error.
VERY illegal stuff happening at Ticketmaster right now @saumil
@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 This one is specifically for Ado at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago tonight, so transfer functionality is required!
Ticketmaster’s workaround to state laws seems to be allowing the transfer button to appear open but then not allowing you to send the tickets after you input the info.
@ScottFriedman3 have you seen anything about this? I am getting this for a show in Chicago tonight! Transfer legally has to be available (it is) and actually usable (it’s not).
@Ticket_Help2022@ScottFriedman3 Ticketmaster is now willingly breaking state laws through these restrictions and they are doing it after taking your passport AND biometric data so apparently that’s not enough anymore.
@saumil what’s up with this?
