This year, Hampshire Search & Rescue Dogs attended 78 incidents, working tirelessly to help those in need.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, their supportive families and friends and our fellow rescue teams who assisted us. Happy New Year.
It is with sadness we must share the passing of retired Search Dog Milo.
Deploying often, Milo had a number of operational finds. From deploying on boats to being winched by helicopter Milo really lived a full search life. Our thoughts are with handler Joe and family.
It's #NationalDogDay a chance to say thank you to our amazing Search Dogs. As well as loyal family pets our team dogs are also partners to thier handlers and ready to respond when needed to search for vulnerable missing people.

“Volunteering for Hampshire Search & Rescue Dogs is a hugely satisfying role - I get to go out and help vulnerable members of the community, with my trusted K9 partner at my side.” Dog Handler Conor and Search Dog Maya

Over the last few days members of our team headed to The Lake District to meet with Water-Rescue, where they took part in their re qualification as Mod 3 Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technicians.
Chilly temperatures, fast flowing rivers, and boat drills.

The team continue to fundraise in many ways, allowing our members to concentrate on deploying. We've updated our Amazon wishlist with many items.

Both incredible people and great ambassadors for the work of volunteer SAR teams.
A huge thank you to @extrailers1 who recently supported us with a thorough service and upgrades to our boat trailer. We have seen an increase in boat use, it is important that the equipment we use is in the best condition and ready to respond.

Recently members of our team undertook their Rescue Trauma And Casualty Care course (RTACC) provided by Square Knot. This now means all of our Operational Team are trained to provide a higher level of care to casualties.
