Thanks to you, this year's Holiday Light Recycling Drive was a shining success! ✨ Together, we recycled 2,749 pounds of unwanted or broken holiday lights!

FUN FACT: Since starting this initiative in 2020, HSE has recycled 17,820 pounds (8.91 tons) of lights – equivalent to a 40-foot shipping container! Your dedication not only supports our environment but also inspires our students to make sustainable choices. 💚 @HSEsavingenergy

The Holiday Light Recycling Drive is ending! This year we filled 4 totes with unwanted or broken holiday lights. Since 2020 @HSESchools @FishersIN have helped prevent nearly 8 tons of plastic, metal, and glass from being discarded. Thank you to everyone who has participated!

I was working with a 4 grade class. Students used real-life data to connect math, science, graphing, & prediction skills. They reviewed @DukeEnergy bills & made predictions about future usage-something I do for my job! What skills do you perform that could help inspire students?

Jan is Radon Awareness Month. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. In Indiana, 1 in 3 homes have radon levels above EPA action levels.

🌟 45 trucks rolling strong.
🌟 15 hand removal crews – working behind the scenes.
🌟 94 snow plow drivers – true headliners.
🌟 800 cul-de-sacs cleared – every corner covered.
🌟 1,200 lane miles made safe – no skips here!
