Thiru TR Baalu filed a defamation case against me for publishing the assets/companies owned by him and his family through DMK Files & he had sought ₹100 Crores in damages.
As you all know, after a certain time period in the trial, I argued my own case and personally cross-examined him, and the details of which are in the public domain.
Also, during one of the cross-examinations, Thiru TR Baalu made defamatory remarks against me without substance in the court, and I had filed a case against him in the same court for making those allegations within the court premise.
Today, Thiru TR Baalu, out of his own wishes, decided to withdraw the defamation case filed against me by him. He filed the defamation case against me; to carry it further or not was his decision & not mine.
I wish to inform all concerned that I continue to stand by every single remark that I had made against the previous DMK govt and certain members of the DMK party till now.
I wish to thank Adv. Paul Kanagaraj, Adv. Kumaraguru and all members of the BJP legal team for their support during the trial of this case.
Truth always triumphs!
I thank you for your attention to this matter!

The farmers of Karnataka are deeply worried by a new entry in the Mutation Register stating that their land has 'joint ownership' with the Waqf Board. This entry has caused severe distress to farmers who are already struggling due to the lack of rainfall this year.
They cannot sell their land, obtain loans, or transfer ownership without the consent of the Waqf Board.
[The entry in the Mutation Register is: As per orders in WP No 201023/2024 dated 01-10-2024 of the land tribunal case no : FT/CR/07/1974-75]
The Revenue Minister @DrParameshwara must explain why this entry was made in the Mutation Register when the land rightfully belongs to the farmers.
This move is highly unconstitutional and deserves the strongest condemnation. The Waqf Board has no right to claim 'joint ownership' over farmers' land.
This entry in the Mutation Register must be deleted immediately, restoring full rights to the original owners. If the government fails to take concrete action within a week, I will join the farmers in protest and lock the offices of the Waqf Board to protest against the unconstitutional move of the State Government and Waqf Board

Ruchika Girhotra, a 14-year-old talented tennis player, had gone for practice with her friend Aradhana when SPS Rathore, an IPS officer and President of the Haryana Tennis Association, called both girls to his room. He sent Aradhana outside on the pretext of calling the coach, then grabbed Ruchika, pulled her towards him and molested her. When Ruchika screamed, Aradhana returned and witnessed the incident. Rathore threatened both girls with dire consequences if they spoke out. Despite the threats, Ruchika and her family bravely filed a police complaint, but instead of action, false theft cases were filed against her brother, who was brutally tortured and paraded naked in front of their house. Police in plain clothes repeatedly threatened the family, Ruchika was expelled from school and banned from tennis, leading her into severe depression. Eventually, she took her own life. The Congress and Chautala governments of that time not only failed to act against Rathore but promoted him to Director General of Police. The family fought a long legal battle and finally got him convicted in 2008. Those were the so-called democratic governments — and now people talk about dictatorship.
