@MimiProbably Thank you for this. We’re worried the public perception will be that we rejected a paycut. But that is not at all the case. We won’t be complicit in the Corporatization of healthcare, and we don’t trust Shandro or this government. I am still the AMA, and patients r our priority.

It’s very simple: the contract itself wasn’t TOO bad, and while complex, I’m pretty sure I’d be better off financially with it, and our organizing body the AMA would be temporarily more protected from the UCP hatchet job on it.
