Sometimes it's easier to say we're 'fine' rather than let people know how we really feel, but 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem and the poorest are more likely to develop poor mental health. #timetotalk is a chance to open up a conversation about mental health.

Home-Start Kirklees is closed from Fri 22nd December and will re-open on Tues 2nd January. We wish a very Happy Christmas to all our families, volunteers and supporters.

Thanks to @SyngentaHD2 for inviting us to their Connecting Communities Fair last week. We enjoyed meeting so many Syngenta's employees and sharing news of our work with them and grateful for Syngenta's support of local charities like ours

The Mayor of Kirklees was honoured to be invited to @HStartKirklees' AGM. The charity works across communities to provide support for families with young children who are experiencing difficulties.
Volunteers are recruited and trained to offer practical and emotional support.
