@SmaielDanny Agree — and not the only highway needing significant investment. I travelled from Cold Lake to Edson last week and the condition of our highways resonated with me. Challenging to attract investment in this region with roads in such poor repair — and then the safety aspect.

@GuntherEagleman As a Canadian, I laugh with you. I am thankful for independent liquor stores in Alberta and common sense. It is paid for and another example of a government making decisions for people, outside of their mandate. It brings new meaning to Liquor “Control” Board of Ontario!

@featheredfish It wasn’t my first thought either, but watching the crews work on the fire for several hours, it was interesting to see their methodical approach and the tools they used. I suppose my mind switched gears once we knew they were keeping it contained due to tools and expertise.
