Also, you would have loved the reaction of the children today as we approached the end of the story and one of their favourite characters reappeared at the top of a snowy ridge! @HTAClassMurfin I had an image of a giant fantasy wolf on one of my Pinterest boards for ages and when I started writing Brightstorm, I knew that it was the right story for them. There are clues to the next sapients you'll meet on the Darkwhispers and Firesong covers...

@HTAClassMurfin They're so intelligent and I love the way they work together. They also have an amazing howl! In the Brightstorm series the sapient creatures have a different intelligence and some may be more clever than humans, you'll meet more as the series continues - they play a big part!
