I believe we are witnessing a changing tide in Agriculture.
For a generation+, there seemed to be an acceptance that those in Agriculture needed to band together to address issues and influence policy.
The beast that is Ag Organizations flourished.
But a funny thing happened along the way... Social media. Suddenly the voices that had been stifled and over ran found an outlet.
It's becoming increasingly clear that the orgs only held their power by running off dissenting opinions and continually adding hoops to jump.
Ag producers having divergent opinions is healthy, good and shouldn't be shocking.
Climate change is happening, we can't keep doing what we're doing.
