@npindersdonkey@johnnyddavidson We rest RCG, then Beniek plays. We rest a winger, then Tindall plays. Sam Davis didnt play, Walker didnt play. No matter who played we were going to rack up a cricket score. Thats our squad. Likewise if Hartley/Porter played. Thats what happens when the squad is so strong.
@npindersdonkey@johnnyddavidson Broncos assembled the best squad we could, thats sport. We use it how we wish. Its not our job to massage selection because results are not a good look for the game. This is the RFLs mess. They knew what London were going to do(full time). They changed the structure.
@npindersdonkey@johnnyddavidson The thing is, the squad is so strong, no matter who plays. Maybe Hartley/Ramsden/Porter but after that?
The reserves are still very much a work in progress (with some good prospects) but I'd argue they get more out of playing the reserve grade (Wigan W yesterday)
@kendo1jnr@AaronBower Context needed, we only had 12 fit players!! We lost 4 in the first 20 and had no subs. Last 20 was 12 men!!!
Up till then we were winning!!
@npindersdonkey@johnnyddavidson Better than sitting around. Momentum is a big part of sport, keeping combinations together etc. There have been a few times this season JD could have swapped things up but he has gone full steam each time.
Also avoids complacency.
@Velo_Rugby@WomensSport@fi_tomas_ Says more about her standards imo. If the standards at Quins were poor we would have just kept her and let her get away with it.
@HarlequinsWomen Quins "We want to be the top Women's Programme in the NH"
Quins - Let the best womens player in the world leave.
Quins - Re-sign 4 players in the back 3 that never play for us, despite the club saying this season they were committed.
Shambles.
@QuinsFOTS If true, it makes it even more bizarre that we continue to re-sign back 3 players who miss all the season playing 7s (despite being told that wouldn't happen this season).
