Excellent review by @greg_ashman of the recent Wyse and Bradbury paper on reading. As Greg writes, the paper is a mess. A mishmash of pretty meaningless PISA and TIMSS correlations, a single review study and a questionnaire on what teachers are doing. Very unconvincing evidence.
It was a privilege to support Little Petals Books’ campaign during #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, that led to a small donation of books from @CDA_Guernsey to help @LeRondin_School understand their feelings & provide them with advice on looking after their mental health & well-being.
This time it’s for real! After some hard work from Dowding Signs, gifted to the PEH team (thank you Dave and Anthony) the hospital building now proudly displays its own rainbow. A great example of #GuernseyTogether

We love this and we think it's a great way of supporting each other. If you want to help, and know someone in need, print this off and drop through their door. This will also be appearing in the @GuernseyPress in the forthcoming days. Over to you Guernsey. #Guernseytogether
The Guernsey Food Forum have released a statement assuring the public that there continues to be enough food and essential items for you and your family throughout the Islands, and the steps they are taking to help. Read the statement: https://t.co/hgvCop5TVB

Who wouldn’t want to be able to break this kind of amazing news to their child. The CF fight for a life unlimited goes on for those in Guernsey, Wales and N Ireland.
Nick Hynes gets us started - legislation alone is not enough children’s rights need to be embedded in our community- there is no better measure of our society #StartTheConversation
