@Dt33345@tetofucker3000@jakethemighty@MaxQHellcat It was the plan since they landed it in the ocean (where it can't be caught) so it has to topple over after the maneuver. It performed the landing flawlessly on tge target, and was then left to fall
@Box_Box__@MichaelStockli@Spaceykey181663@MaxQHellcat They didn't plan to lose the engines but they were very aware that it would exode after the simated landing maneuver (which it performed flawlessly despite the lacking engine)
@philipengberg I mean, it doesn't help being late if your product is only better than your competitors first Gen product.
The new Samsung flips are better than the Duo, in part due to Samsung knowing what they're doing from having made prior models.
@philipengberg Hvis ikke man kommer længere end 225km for 100kr lader man enten når strømmen er dyr eller man kører en elbil der sluger latterlige mængder af energi
@ChinaEV_Eng_Lif@brandenflasch The P7 is neither more roomy and whether it is more comfortable is debatable since the suspension is really, really soft, to the point that it wobbles around when simply driving straight on b-roads, even in the sport setting.
Some people do prefer that type of suspension though.
@dbsb3233@Out_of_Spec@itskyleconner@RivianTrackr@alex_bessinger@Rivian@Tesla The R2 is more similar to the in terms of look, and especially in terms of functionality.
And if the best reason for people not to cross shop is the looks, then there is no reason at all. People cross shop vehicles with massively different looks all the time.
@dbsb3233@Out_of_Spec@itskyleconner@RivianTrackr@alex_bessinger@Rivian@Tesla And tons of people cross shop model 3 and model Y, which are far more different than the Y and R2.
Only the most extreme of specific use cases locks people into either the R2 or the Y, for the vast majority of use cases they work equally well.
@dbsb3233@Out_of_Spec@itskyleconner@RivianTrackr@alex_bessinger@Rivian@Tesla I don't know what you are on about, the overlap between the buyers of both are massive. 99% of people who would consider a model Y would also consider an R2 and vice versa. The only people for who there wouldn't be cross shopping is the 1% of buyers wanting an R2 to off road hard
@dbsb3233@Out_of_Spec@itskyleconner@RivianTrackr@alex_bessinger@Rivian@Tesla They are comparable, competing vehicles, with EPA numbers showing similar range results. Of course people will test them.
What is disappointing isn't the performance compared to the model Y, it is the performance compared to EPA.
Model Y is just a comparison.
