To help raise awareness of #breastcancer amongst 40 migrant women in Zwara, IOM held an information session on early detection, warning signs and symptoms and how to access support. IOM female doctor and nurse provided a lecture on breast self-exams and offered free examinations.

A workshop in Honiara this week is looking at how we can all do more to stamp out modern slavery in the fisheries sector in the Pacific. Glad 🇦🇺 was able to fund a new report which reminds us that exploitation can take many from from deceptive recruitment to paltry wages.
A pleasure to be leading the workshop in the Solomon Islands on Modern Slavery in the Pacific fishing industry. Key stakeholders join to discuss key findings and challenges in order to come together and work towards solutions. We’re taking the first step in a journey forwards.
