My new book, Primary Reading Simplified, is released this Monday (27th January).

@Suchmo83 As a teacher with crohns, we sometimes get exhaustion and joint pain. Being able to sit or perch for a couple of minutes, whilst still teaching, is invaluable and can mean that you can actually finish the day.
This is probably the most important book that any primary teacher or leader will read.
I know that’s a big statement & I don’t make it lightly.
Reading it was bittersweet - I was so sad I didn’t have it when I started, but thrilled that the profession now does.
Game changer.
I've written a new blog which explores 5 key ideas from my new book, Primary Reading Simplified.
I'd really appreciate any retweets.

@MrMetacognition For the example you’ve given I’d probably have to go 45 x 74 and then use place value.
Although, if you’d have gone ___ x 0.75 then I’d have worked it out using halving and quartering.
