For our final 3rd grade Zoom call, we celebrated each other's talents with our own little talent show and a few loving words at the end. We will miss our sweet students that we adore so much! Congratulations, you are now 4th graders!
I'm always blown away by my students' creativity!
Their task was to research a topic of their choice and find 4 interesting facts. Next, they created a different type of figurative language to represent each fact, in cursive! π (Part 2 of 2)

These kids constantly make me so proud! Their writing task was to revise and edit the sentence given and to use all the writing strategies we've learned throughout the school year such as sensory words, figurative language, vivid verbs, vocabulary, and so much more! #thirdgrade

Today's digital lesson was a nonfiction article on Mo Willems and his YouTube channel teaching us how to draw! The students were tasked to read the article then go to his YouTube channel and follow a tutorial for one of his drawings! Here are some amazing student masterpieces!
Todayβs Family Meeting featured a scavenger hunt. The 3rd graders went scavenging for sunglasses, hats, siblings, pets, and cereal! Which turned into a yummy snack while we chatted!
@jenradcliffe Thanks! Itβs been a fun and creative outlet for my energy since I canβt hang with my favorite shorties in person. Hope they get a kick out of these and feel inspired to create!

Letβs keep our minds engaged while weβre out of school. Today I did so by hand weaving a blanket! Perfect for getting cozy with an exciting book or family movie night. I would love to see how youβre keeping your mind engaged. Keep me posted! π
