@saniyafatma1278 Sounds like you made the right choice then, he needs to experience some sacrifice in his own life before judging you for not wanting to risk losing your efforts
@AliceBright_ Not everyone is able to be a CEO and an economy relies on a working class to produce goods for trade. I’m totally fine with working hard to make a
Buck while more talented or skilled people make more than me.
I’ll either rise to their level or I won’t there’s nothing else to it
@sheofseas@emkenobi@cantwontshutup The reason housing is so expensive is due in large to the inability to build more homes a large contributor to the lack of new homes being built is due to environmental protection laws becoming too extreme.
Balance is needed we can’t just bulldoze the world or build nothing
@643DPMT@OldMutherRucker@Owennfa I agree with you on the point of personal responsibility being a lacking trait in many young people
However my entire point is about the system itself not being setup in a way to make people’s lives better yet politicians line their pockets without issue
@643DPMT@OldMutherRucker@Owennfa There is a ton of wasteful spending happening, many people view services like door dash as a necessity and not a luxury service which is asinine. However the economy is in a rough spot right now and kids wasting money on stupid stuff isn’t the cause of that problem
@titsandbeerco@OldMutherRucker@Owennfa You should talk to some people and put aside that condescension, many people were sold on a lie that if they furthered their education they’d have wealth and a house in no time.
That simply isn’t the reality and now we have too many overly educated but inexperienced workers
@OldMutherRucker@Owennfa That attitude won’t resolve the problem at this rate you’re going to need 10 roommates to afford a place to live before long is that what you want? People living like sardines in one of the most advanced countries in the world. We can do better and should do better
