Long form post?
In ~ 2000 I had switched from being a painter to using computational technologies. Searching on the net I came across Frieder Nake, Roman Verotsko, Harold Cohen and others, the algorists.

I immediately admired Roman's work, so I bought some vintage plotters on eBay. At the time, I was already working with Linux and Python.

I got some interesting results.. that constituted my portfolio to enter Goldsmiths College as a part-time mature student
