I’ll be serving as both a judge and a mentor at Frontier Tower for SensAI Hack San Francisco 2025, which is just around the corner!

What I love about hackathons is that they’re not just about pushing a prototype in a few days. They’re one of the best ways to show what makes you unique. A single strong project can give you more visibility than months of sending résumés into the void. When your ideas hit the right note, the right people come to you.

What I’m looking forward to the most is seeing how teams think beyond the box, not tech for tech’s sake, but concepts that hit real problems and real use cases. XR + AI is an incredible playground, but only meaningful ideas survive the hype cycle.

Now the Meta Quest’s depth data can be streamed remotely together with position and orientation to visualize the surrounding structure in real time.

“Guessing with calipers” is a process/game that I quickly grow tired of (especially when iterating with 3Dprinting), so I built a jig with dove tail rails to help dial in the values. Building a rig to record the #MetaRayBanDisplay screen.
