In lower extremity fx treated operatively, pilon and bicondylar fx were prescribed more opiates than other ankle, tibial shaft, or unicondylar fx. Authors recommend 40 pills of 10mg oxycodone with 2 refill for bicondylar or pilon fx or 1 refill for other fx types. #medtwitter
