JUST IN: On 11th March, President Trump told a crowd in Hebron, Kentucky, that the United States has “won” the war against Iran. He said the conflict was decided in “the first hour.” He claimed 58 Iranian naval ships destroyed. He called it a “short-term excursion” nearing its finish.
On 11th March, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya announced the end of reciprocal hits and the beginning of continuous strikes. Col. Ali Razmjou declared not a single litre of oil benefiting the US or allies would transit Hormuz. He predicted $200 per barrel. An oil tanker was set on fire in the northern Persian Gulf and the IRGC publicly claimed responsibility. A Thai bulk carrier was struck in the Strait. Three sailors are missing. A container ship was hit off Ras al Khaimah. Two drones were intercepted near Dubai International Airport. And the Port of Salalah in Oman, the neutral mediator’s oil terminal, burned through the night after drones hit its fuel storage tanks.
Same day. Same war. Two realities.
The market chose which one to believe. WTI crude surged 5.66% to $92.19 per barrel. Not down on victory. Up on escalation. The largest IEA reserve release in history, 400 million barrels approved the same day, could not offset what the market saw: a president declaring the war won while the enemy announced it would never end. The reserve release was the largest ever attempted. The price went up anyway.
In the reality where the war is won, the Strait of Hormuz carries approximately 8 tankers per day instead of 138. Seven P&I clubs have cancelled war-risk insurance with a reinstatement timeline of 12 to 24 months after hostilities cease. Clarksons Research reports 3,200 ships idle in the Gulf with 500 more waiting outside. Ten Maersk vessels are trapped and running out of fuel. Ras Laffan has not shipped a single LNG cargo in nine days. The UAE Defence Ministry reports 1,359 of 1,440 drones and 233 of 253 ballistic missiles intercepted since 28 February. The 81 drones and 20 missiles that got through struck data centres, fuel depots, airports, and ports across four countries. The Supreme Leader of Iran is a cardboard cutout and the 31 autonomous commands that replaced him have just announced they will never stop firing.
George W. Bush stood on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln on 1 May 2003 beneath a banner reading “Mission Accomplished.” The Iraq War continued for eight more years. 4,431 Americans died after the banner. The declaration did not end the war. It ended the political permission to acknowledge that the war was continuing.
Trump’s declaration does the same thing. From tomorrow, every IRGC strike, every tanker burning, every mine detonating, every drone intercepted near an airport, every sailor missing from a Thai bulk carrier will occur in a war the President has already declared won. The attacks will not stop. The language to describe them will change. “Ongoing operations” will replace “war.” “Mopping up” will replace “escalation.” “Isolated incidents” will replace “continuous strikes announced by the enemy’s joint military command on the same day the President said it was over.”
The colonel who announced continuous strikes and the President who announced victory spoke on the same day. One of them is lying. WTI at $92 and a tanker burning off Basra suggest which one.

JUST IN: The United States has not built a new oil refinery in fifty years. Fifty. The last one broke ground when Nixon was president and oil cost $3 a barrel.
Trump just announced a $300 billion deal to build one. The largest energy investment in American history. Port of Brownsville, Texas. Groundbreaking Q2 2026. Binding 20-year offtake agreement. Processing American shale crude. Thousands of jobs in South Texas. “The cleanest refinery in the world.”
The lead investor is Indian.
Reliance Industries, controlled by the Ambani family with a 50.39% promoter stake, operators of the Jamnagar complex in Gujarat, the largest single-site refinery on Earth, are the confirmed major foreign partner. Trump thanked them on Truth Social as “our partners in India, and their largest privately held Energy Company” for their “tremendous investment.”
Now hold two facts simultaneously.
India’s Reliance Industries is investing billions in an American refinery to process American shale oil for American energy dominance. India’s government, led by Modi, is simultaneously importing over 40% of its crude from Russia at war-discounted prices, rejected the US “permission” framing for a 30-day Russian oil waiver on 7th March (“India has never depended on permission from any country”), and continues buying Iranian crude via Chabahar port logistics.
The same country. The same week. Building American energy independence with one hand. Buying Russian crude with the other. This is not hypocrisy. This is the Modi Doctrine operating at its highest expression.
Multi-alignment means India does not choose sides. It chooses deals. QUAD membership for security. Russian crude for energy. Chabahar for Iranian access. Reliance capital for American refining. Israeli defence technology for military modernisation. Gulf remittances for 10 million workers. No formal alliance with any power. Maximum leverage with all of them. Every relationship is transactional. Every commitment is calibrated. Every contradiction serves a constituency.
Trump needs the refinery because the Iran war just proved that 50 years without building one left America dependent on foreign refining capacity for products its own shale produces. The Strait of Hormuz did not just close oil transit. It closed the refined product supply chain that feeds American gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and petrochemicals. Building domestic refining capacity is the structural response to Actuarial Warfare: if chokepoints can be closed by insurance spreadsheets, the only defence is not needing the chokepoint.
Ambani needs the deal because Reliance’s Jamnagar complex processes Gulf crude that transits Hormuz. The same Strait that is mined, uninsured, and defended by 31 autonomous IRGC commands. Diversifying into American shale refining hedges against the exact crisis currently paralysing Reliance’s primary feedstock route. This is not philanthropy. It is the world’s largest refiner buying insurance that no P&I club can provide.
The war created the crisis. The crisis created the deal. The deal was signed by the country whose Prime Minister was just given “permission” to buy Russian oil and told America it never asked.
Fifty years. One war. One phone call. And the billionaire who builds it is from the country Washington cannot decide whether to sanction or celebrate.

Germany is now offering a permanent cure for diabetes, a breakthrough that could transform treatment for millions of patients worldwide. Remarkably, while the therapy costs around $40,000 in the U.S., international patients can reportedly access it for free, making this life-changing treatment accessible to a broader population.
The cure works by using advanced stem cell and regenerative therapies to restore the body’s natural ability to produce insulin, effectively treating both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Patients regain full glucose regulation, reducing or eliminating the need for insulin injections, medications, or ongoing disease management.
Early clinical results indicate high success rates, with patients achieving normal blood sugar levels and improved metabolic function after treatment. By targeting the underlying cause of diabetes rather than just managing symptoms, this approach represents a paradigm shift in diabetes care.
Germany’s offer to international patients reflects both a commitment to medical innovation and global healthcare access, allowing individuals from around the world to benefit from cutting-edge therapies without prohibitive costs. This could save countless lives, improve quality of life, and reduce long-term complications associated with diabetes.
The development underscores the potential of regenerative medicine and stem cell technology to cure chronic diseases previously thought permanent, highlighting Germany’s leadership in making advanced medical treatments both effective and widely available.

Starlink Network Business !!!
A few hours ago, I advised someone to start a Starlink network business, and many people reached out to me saying they are interested. So, I decided to educate the general public about it.
Follow and learn…
Starlink provides a high-speed and reliable internet connection with very few network issues. The Starlink network business can be started in different ways depending on your budget.
If you have a small budget
This is the basic setup you can start with.
Starlink requires stable electricity, so the following items are needed:
1. Mini Starlink 450k
2. Solar system (two solar panels and a 100Ah battery)
3. Months unlimited Subscription 57k
4. Installation negotiable depending on your location
That’s all you need to start.
You can begin the business on a small scale. After installation, we will guide you on how to configure the network so it works privately. Only people who pay and connect their phones through you can use the internet, and hotspot sharing can be restricted.
If you have a bigger budget
You can build a larger and more professional network setup with the following equipment:
1. Standard Starlink Big one
2. MikroTik Router 210k
3. Grandstream (Ax 3000 160k. AX6000 250k)
4. POE Adapters 20k
5. Cat6 Cables Complete park 150k per meter 1k
6. Connectors (Heads) 200 naira
7. Installation and configuration (negotiable)
8. Months unlimited Subscription 57k
The MikroTik router will allow you to create internet tickets for customers. Each ticket is for one user with a specific price and time limit.
For example: You can sell 12 hours of internet access for ₦200. Customers can use the network during that time, and once the time expires, they must renew their ticket.
A MikroTik system can manage up to about 250 users.
Grandstream access points help extend the network over a long distance and wider coverage area.
The POE adapter supplies power to the Grandstream devices.
With a good location and proper management, this business can generate steady income.
Note: I sell the equipment and also handle installation and configuration.
Delivery nationwide ✌️

The Enemy of Northern Nigeria is in Northern Nigeria. No need to look for phantom enemies or to construct some whimsical conspiracy theories; the Enemy of Northern Nigeria is from Northern Nigeria.
The New York Times just profiled Aliko Dangote and the story is wild.
A man worth over $30 billion who once had homes in multiple countries, drove Ferraris and Rolls-Royces, threw fancy parties, then sold everything and said “Some of us need to rescue the country.”
He poured $20 billion into building the world’s largest single-train refinery near Lagos. 650,000 barrels of crude oil processed daily. He imported thousands of trucks from China. Built roads. Constructed a jetty. All with private capital.
Think about what he was trying to solve.
Nigeria is one of the world’s largest crude oil producers. Yet for decades, we exported raw crude and imported refined fuel at a premium. We were literally selling the ingredient and buying back the finished product. The economics of dependency at its finest.
That refinery doesn’t just change fuel supply. It changes the foreign exchange equation. It changes the trade balance. It shifts the entire conversation about what African capital can do when it’s deployed at home instead of consumed abroad.
Critics will point to his privileged start, the cement monopoly accusations, and question whether this is polished PR. Fair enough. No story is one sided.
But here’s what nobody can argue:
Dangote bet his fortune on production, not consumption. On building, not buying. On solving a structural problem that governments failed to fix for 60 years.
That’s not just a business decision. That’s a blueprint.
The Revised Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2027 General Election reflecting these adjustments have been issued and can be accessed on the Commission’s official website and other official communication platforms.
In addition, the Osun State Governorship Election, earlier fixed for Saturday, 8th August 2026, has been rescheduled to Saturday, 15th August 2026.
The Commission notes that some activities in respect of the Ekiti and Osun Governorship Elections have already been conducted. However, the remaining activities will now be implemented strictly in accordance with the Electoral Act, 2026.
The revised dates are consistent with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and the Electoral Act, 2026.
The successful conduct of the forthcoming elections remains a collective responsibility.
The Commission calls on all stakeholders to cooperate in ensuring peaceful, credible and inclusive elections that reflect the sovereign will of the Nigerian people.

Indian Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) are standalone devices — they are not connected to the internet, any network, or even external power sources in a way that allows remote interference. They run on their own batteries/power packs, use one-time programmable (OTP) memory, and have no wireless capabilities (no Bluetooth, WiFi, or radio frequency receivers). This design eliminates risks like hacking via the internet or external devices. They include a Voter-Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT), which prints a paper slip showing the voter's chosen candidate (with name, symbol, and serial number). The voter sees this slip through a window for about 7 seconds to verify it before the vote is finalized. The slip then drops into a sealed box for potential audits. Votes are recorded electronically in the machine's control unit, and a small percentage of VVPAT slips (e.g., from randomly selected polling stations) are manually tallied to cross-check the electronic results for integrity. Results are then transmitted electronically to the Election Commission of India (ECI) after polling closes, but the core voting process remains offline and tamper-resistant. non-networked nature. In Nigeria, adopting a similar standalone EVM + paper trail system is technically feasible. The country already uses the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) for voter verification (biometrics + card reader), and results can be transmitted electronically to the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) in some cases. A full EVM system like India's could build on existing tech infrastructure, address manual collation issues, reduce ballot stuffing or invalid votes, and provide a verifiable paper record to build trust. However, the bigger question is political will — would Nigerian politicians agree? From recent developments (as of early 2026), there is significant resistance to reforms that enhance transparency and reduce opportunities for manipulation:
The National Assembly (particularly the Senate) has repeatedly debated and watered down mandatory real-time electronic transmission of polling unit results. Proposals to make it compulsory faced opposition, with lawmakers arguing issues like poor network coverage in rural areas. Even after public backlash, protests, and pressure transmission but leave it discretionary (to INEC's determination) and permit fallback to manual processes if tech "fails." Critics call this a loophole that preserves the status quo and enables potential rigging during collation.
Opposition figures (e.g., from PDP, Labour Party) and activists argue that reluctance to fully embrace tech stems from fears it would curb overvoting, result manipulation, or other malpractices that benefit incumbents or certain interests.
Politicians across parties — especially those who benefit from the current manual-heavy process — often prioritize control over collation and result management. Full EVM adoption would shift power toward a more verifiable, harder-to-manipulate system, which many seem unwilling to risk if it threatens their electoral advantages. In short,Yes, it's doable technically (India proves a large, diverse country can implement it successfully), but political agreement is the real hurdle in Nigeria. Without strong public pressure, cross-party consensus, or incentives for transparency, resistance is likely to persist ahead of 2027 elections. Many Nigerians share the view that the Indian model could solve key fears, but the question remains whether the political class truly wants elections that are harder to influence.
