We are announcing our most ambitious move today with the release of DAX-1, our flagship model, post-trained specifically for spreadsheet editing.
DAX-1 is 97% cheaper to run than Anthropic’s Fable 5 and achieved 91.7% accuracy compared to Fable 5’s 58.3% on our benchmark. DAX-1 is also 5× faster.
This marks a shift in how we build Decide. Rather than relying solely on general-purpose frontier models, we will train specialized models where it makes sense for our operations.
This gives us more control over accuracy, speed, and cost, and allows us to build better products for the businesses and professionals who rely on Decide.
DAX-1 is the first step in this direction
Had the pleasure of meeting @hackSultan 🙂↔️
There’s a differentttt kind of perspective that comes from speaking with someone who has been building at scale for years
What @AltSchoolAfrica is working on next is on a completely different level. I was super intrigued hearing some of what they have in the works and how they’re thinking about the future of education.
Very excited about what’s to come🙂↕️
@hackSultan@chowdeck or a “Spend N7,000 on Chowdeck and get a 20% discount on AltSchool Application fees”
even if they are not taking the offer right there, they’d want to check out what Altschool is

Driving 140 km/hr instead of 100 km/hr over a 50 km trip only saves you about 8minutes.
8 minutes is not worth risking your life for, but if you’re alone 200KM, you’ll save 15 minutes and I’ll understand that.
I stole @hackSultan's IG post carousel as a template and used it to create the media for my LinkedIn post today.

Kindly read and tell me what you think.😁
Thank you, Hack Sultan for the assist.
I passed my AltSchool assessment to study Digital Marketing, Automation and Sales.
And honestly, I’m really excited about this one.
Thanks to the scholarship funded by @Tunde_OD, @SamuelOtigba and @hackSultan, I got the opportunity to take this course.
One random morning, I woke up, saw the scholarship flyer, applied, took the assessment… and somehow, I passed.
For the past 2–3 years, I’ve worked in different capacities within content and digital marketing. Most of what I know, though, has come from researching, experimenting and teaching myself along the way.
So I decided to take this course because I wanted to learn properly. Not just know enough to do the work, but actually understand the different parts of the field in depth.
And then came the interesting part.
The course started with the basics of Computer Science, moved into Digital Products, and then got to Sales.
That last module caught me completely off guard.
It was about the day-to-day life of a salesperson, the skills required, having a can-do attitude, being customer-centric, building relationships and, most importantly, genuinely caring about the people you’re selling to.
And I kept thinking, wait… I already do some of these things.
In my current work as a media strategist and content creator for primary and secondary schools, I’ve found myself doing more than just delivering content. I’ll point things out to school administrators or directors about their personal brands, suggest things they could improve, and generally care about the growth of my clients beyond the work I was hired to do.
So when our tutor said salesmanship isn’t just about selling a product or service, but about connecting with people and genuinely caring about solving their problems, something clicked.
For the first time in a while, I could actually see myself doing this.
Sales.
And I think I’ve finally found something I’d genuinely love to spend the next 5–10 years building a career in.
So, here we go!
I’m excited to officially start my journey at @AltSchoolAfrica, and I’m currently looking for Sales Representative / Sales Development Representative graduate trainee roles or internships, particularly in Abuja, where I can gain practical experience while taking my course.
If you come across an opportunity that you think could be a good fit, please send it my way or reach out to me.
I’d really appreciate it.
There are some business models that can’t work in a stable economy, especially with strong regulatory compliance requirements. For example - POS shouldn’t be deployed to replace ATM machines in a normal country.
Every day, I see evidence that my goal in life is to change people’s lives through tech. I got a message today about a gym trainer whom @SamuelOtigba specifically supported to enrol at @AltSchoolAfrica, with everything covered.
This guy borrows a phone every night to read his home study kit while preparing for his entrance exam because his phone is really old and doesn’t load the website properly. Chrome can’t work on his phone.
Today, he took his entrance exam and scored 96.
We just need someone to believe in us and give us a chance.
Congratulations to me 🥳🥳, I just locked in something big.
Got in as the person handling Offensive Security Operations (Application Security Engineer).
I reached out to a founder based in the UK back in March. He only saw the message in August. Today we finally got on a call.
We had a long and honest conversation. He mentioned that he had been seeing my content across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, and told me to keep it up. That part genuinely meant a lot.
As the discussion continued, he explained that their company runs an internship program focused on giving people real cybersecurity experience, mainly in SOC and Cloud Security. I asked about Application Security and Offensive Security, and he said those tracks don’t currently exist in their program.
I saw the gap and spoke on it. I told him those areas could be properly built into their training structure, and that I could come in as an AppSec engineer and instructor to help make it happen. I also introduced Ethical Hacking into the program as part of the new track. The conversation moved in that direction naturally.
One of the managers involved has around 40 years of experience in the field. The founder himself is the Head of Operations. This is a company fully based and operating in the UK.
By the end of the call, it was clear. I will be coming in to handle Offensive Security operations and trainings for the organization.
This is a major milestone for me. I’m really happy about the chance to contribute, teach, and do meaningful work at the same time.
To top it all its an hourly pay, and its actually good for a start.
Sometimes the messages you send quietly still work. They just take their time.
