Spending my Sunday doing very normal activities like ugly crying over a cat I’ve never met. My heart is shattered that he got such a raw deal in life but I’m comforted that he had Haley in his final moments to hold and love him. Rest easy dear Bertie, you mattered, i love you. 💔

in honor of Boris being ADOPTED 🎉, let's all cry together over his before & after

He came to us back in March feeling pretty miserable and exhausted from a hard life on the streets. He left us as a clear-eyed, purring, zooming, happy guy! He is so loved in his new home 🩷

Can someone please go save Bertie this weekend, senior rescue cats are the absolute sweetest. My heart breaks thinking of what his nervous system’s been through, I actually really relate. Please let him know love and safety and stability in his golden years, jeeze. 😞❤️‍🩹

This is a desperate plea for Bertie, a sweet ~13 y/o cat who has not had it easy. He is a very sweet boy but is not doing well in a kennel and needs out of here. He needs an adopter ASAP. He prefers to be the only pet in the home.

it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

We are now forced to close intake and not help anymore cats until we find homes for the adoptable cats in our care. We literally have no more space and I'm having to say no to cats who will die without us.
