@AsianDawn4 Why bring this behavior to Japan, I donโt understand it. This is such a mismatch with our values and will only add fire to the growing anti foreigner sentiment. American and Australian seems to be the main suspects for trouble. Really disappointing

In Japan the emphasis is on maintaining harmony within the group, even if it means prioritizing the needs of others over your own. Standing out is not seen as a virtue; in fact, appearing overly important is perceived as immature and annoying.
@callistoroll Especially the last few years a different type of tourist arrived. Due to the Japan hype, the low Yen. Itโs painful to see their misbehavior. But we havenโt learned to confront others. This might be seen as weakness which gives foreigners more room to act like idiots.
