The Somaliland X community is incredibly resilient, and I'm so proud of it.
We have our moments of chaos, but when it comes to Somaliland's statehood, the vast majority put partisan politics and clan affiliations aside.
We rise above the politicking and keep our eyes on the next goal.
No central command. No affiliations. Just hundreds of Somalilanders united by one cause: Somaliland recognition.
"Mission Accomplished," Mr. Mullin.
You also accomplished something else: proving to the world that you have no business hosting an international tournament. Your conduct has been a masterclass for how to squander the dignity that comes with being a host.
Theres nothing more cringe than seeing Somalians celebrate Somaliland’s Independence Day as their own!
If your entire existence hinges on telling yourselves lies & fairy tales then no wonder why your country is a failed state.
🚨🚨⚡️ 26 June 1960
A day forever etched in history 🗣️a day that belongs to #Somaliland and its people.
There are two truths that are not up for debate: Somaliland's statehood and its history.
No amount of denial, distortion, or attempts to rewrite the past can erase the facts.
History cannot be rewritten to suit political narratives. ( Hello 😅 Somalia )
It was an honour to join UKSLA, SSE, and SLDUK in #Birmingham the second city of the 🇬🇧 and home to one of the largest Somaliland 💚🤍❤️ communities in the country.
Together, we proudly upheld @UKSLAlliance's mission: telling Somaliland's unique story with confidence, wisdom, and clarity, ensuring that our history is heard, understood, and never forgotten.
My deepest gratitude goes to the outstanding teams at UKSLA, SSE, and SLDUK for their unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and selfless service.
Thank you also to the MPs, councillors, community leaders, and, above all, the British Somalilanders whose presence made this celebration truly unforgettable.
Our history is our foundation. Our identity is our strength. Our future is ours to shape.
Happy 26 June to every Somalilander across the world.
Allow dhowr Somaliland. 🙌🏾🫡
To my somalilander friends, happy independence day
You can be so proud of the country you built up together, from the lawnessness of somalia and oppression under siad barre and isaaq genocide you rose and build up Somaliland to what it is today.
May your best days be ahead. Happy birthday Somaliland!
So I visited an Austro-Hungarian castle in Italy showing a map of the Horn of Africa from centuries ago. And of course Somalia did not include Somaliland then, just as it doesn’t include it now.
Remember, Somalia doesn’t seem to have a moral problem with Israel, but Somaliland establishing bilateral relationships is treated as unforgivable.
The logic appears to be:
halal for me, haram for Somaliland.
Somalia’s propaganda strategy against Somaliland:
If argument A fails, immediately deploy arguments B through Z and hope for the best.
One day it’s history. The next day it’s law. The day after that it’s religion + Somalinimo.
less strategy, more of a spin-the-wheel challenge.
