@MeatEaterTV That country is unforgiving in the best of seasons. I’ve fished southern CO for years and the weather is dangerously fickle. This year we had an 80 degree day drop to 45 and hail on us in 2 hours. We pack safety/signaling gear, layering systems, GPS and maps even for day trips.

@TxDPS Can anyone explain how this makes any sense? If we want to eliminate fees then eliminate the registration. Inspections keep unsafe vehicles off public highways we all pay taxes to use. Why do I have to pay to register a vehicle to myself every year? Does the computer forget?
