I$rael is once again threatening to strike the Qasmiyeh Bridge in the south of Lebanon. There is no serious military objective in targeting it.
This is about severing the south from the rest of the country. What we are seeing now is an ethnic cleansing operation on a scale larger than the Nakba. The forced displacement of more than 1 million people, some 20 percent of the Lebanese people, a war crime under international law.
I$rael wants to occupy the land, part of the Greater I$rael project from the Nile to the Euphrates. And make no mistake, if it wasn’t for the fierce resistance they are facing on the ground, they would have already hoisted the I$raeli flag over Beirut. And they won’t stop there. This is a pivotal moment for the region and indeed for the world.
Today is Nowruz — one of humanity's oldest New Year celebrations, alive across multiple cultures. #Nowruz reminds us that spring comes regardless - and life renews.
In Iran, it marks the beginning of the New Year. Despite the incessant bombings, Iranians are carrying on with their traditions - to live is to resist.
From all of us at DiEM25 - Solidarity and New Year's Greetings. Norooz Pirooz!

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba
I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film
As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes
It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions.
But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken
16 Palestinian entities, including football clubs, players, and landowners, filed an official complaint with the International Criminal Court against FIFA President Gianni Infantino and UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.
The complaint states that the two organizations colluded in war crimes and crimes against humanity by allowing 11 Israeli clubs to play on occupied land in the West Bank, in violation of FIFA regulations that prohibit a national association from conducting activities on the territory of another without explicit consent.
The complaint also criticises the double standards within FIFA, noting that the organization acts quickly to protect foreign players in cases of injury while ignoring the ongoing violations by the occupation against Palestinian players.
It further cited the death of Palestinian player Suleiman Al-Abed to reinforce allegations of bias against the two organizations.
The wife of Dr. Hossam Abu Safieh is pleading with the world to intervene urgently to save his life, asserting that "his only crime was saving the lives of the wounded," and demanding immediate action before he dies in prison.
Don't let this become just another news item; talk about it.
Israelis want you to believe they are the descendants of Moses, but they're just Europeans who converted to Judaism.

Francesca Albanese wasn’t just sanctioned.
She was put under US sanctions used against terrorists.
Why?
For exposing US tech giants’ involvement in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Read that again.
A UN human rights official.
Sanctioned like a terrorist.
For documenting genocide.
“We should hang our heads in shame for allowing this monstrosity to continue,” said Yanis Varoufakis, a Greek economist and politician, as he accused Palantir of embracing technologies used to facilitate Israeli genocide against Palestinians.

“Peter Mandelson epitomises the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the of very closed political and media class that runs Britain”
EXPOSED: Keir Starmer, Jeffery Epstein, Peter Mandelson & the REAL Prime Minister @pularjs
Mona Juul and Terje Roed Larsen, the Norwegian husband and wife team that were the architects of the disastrous Oslo process (which side-stepped international law, devastated Palestinian rights for three decades, and consolidated the Israel regime’s unlawful position in Palestine), are revealed in the Epstein files as having close relations with (Mossad-adjacent Israel regime operative) Jeffrey Epstein, and taking personal loans from him, and their children were reportedly left $10 Million in Epstein’s will. Larsen also served as the UN’s chief envoy for the Middle East (UNSCO) (he was briefly my boss when I worked for the UN in Palestine in the 90s), and he was later forced to step down in scandal as head of the International Peace Institute due to his financial dealings with Epstein. I can’t prove that Israel has corrupted UN political officials working on Palestine, but I know that Larsen and his successors as UN envoys (UNSCO) all consistently prioritized Israel regime sensibilities over international law and the human rights of the Palestinian people. (Despite the best efforts of the UN’s human rights personnel with whom UNSCO has often been in conflict). Equally shockingly, Larsen’s most recent successor at UNSCO (Nickolay Mladenov) has even agreed to serve on Trump’s lawless, colonial “Board of Peace.”
