Call me crazy, but I’m okay with Marion being an opposition figure. Why? He strongly detests anyone who disrespects our history or attempts to encroach upon our territorial integrity and sovereignty. He firmly believes that Eritrea and its Red Sea coastlines must be respected and secured by Eritreans for the benefit of Eritreans. He openly asserts that Eritrea must exist and be respected, and that it must be defended first against all enemies. In his opinion, after securing Eritrea, we can then engage in political discussions. I have no disagreement with that stance. The other opposition groups, on the other hand, assist our enemies in propaganda to invade our country. Their philosophy is to sell themselves to any of our enemies to earn income, regardless of the cost to Eritrea and Eritreans. These are selfish and devilish individuals.
