Surfing Stingrays! Florida's beaches don't just attract tourist, they also attract amazing wildlife like these surfing stingrays. They're actually Cownose Rays, a type of eagle ray, but like most rays, they can sting. In spring and summer they can be seen surfing waves to shore. They surf to shore to feed on coquina clams and mole crabs (also known a sand fleas) that bury into the sand as the waves recede from the beach.
