According to the report from the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Health Department, a total of 29 Cambodian civilians, monks, soldiers, and unarmed police officers sustained both serious and minor injuries during the incident in which Thai troops violated Cambodian territory by “enforcing Thai law on Cambodian soil.” The Thai military fired tear gas, used rubber batons, and deployed sound-disrupting devices that caused ear damage, among other injuries, on the afternoon of September 17, 2025.
Press release of the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation to encourage full and effective implementation of the ceasefire and all agreements reached between Cambodia and Thailand.
