Sometimes we only have ourselves to blame because we are what’s making us miserable. Stop being negative and stop thinking about all that’s wrong in life. Instead, count the blessings and thank the Almighty. He will reward you with even more.
Why do we have the tendency to stereotype people & think like we know it all? Why do we often feel like we can speak with authority on someone’s life? How can we when we’ve not experienced what the other person has; we’ve not walked in his shoes? Learn to be more compassionate.
Never think that the Almighty won’t answer your prayers. Remember, your prayers matter. He hears them; all of them & He will answer according to His timing. Our timing isn’t His timing. For us, His timing often feels like a long delay. But His timing is always perfect.
Before you post anything on social media, think! Come Judgement Day, you will be standing in the Court of the Almighty giving an account of every tweet, every comment, every post, every like, every swear word, etc. Would you be calm & happy or would you be sorry & embarrassed?
Today, many are sad and disillusioned because they fail to appreciate what the Almighty has bestowed on them. They scoff at His blessings because they are too busy admiring the fake life portrayed by some on social media. Remember to be grateful, before it’s taken away from you!
Almighty. You’re the only One who knows the trials and tribulations we are facing in this life. Only You know our pain & discomfort. Only You are there for our grief and sorrow. Only You have the power to heal us, grant hope in our hearts and make us feel whole again. Aameen.
Life is short. Instead of quibbling over petty issues, make it a point to touch lives & hearts whenever you get the opportunity. Give, forgive & apologise. If you find difficulty doing it, make a commitment & start today. Focus your resources on things that matter.
Satan’s goal is to create division and confusion. So be careful when confronted with situations which could potentially go that way. Be cautious and guarded in your reaction and don’t fall for the bait. He is waiting to see you mess up. Don’t give him that pleasure.
Don’t worry about whatever you lost. It’s the Almighty’s way of reminding you that better things are in store. He will open doors you never imagined and bring about restoration. So don’t be sad and pine over whatever’s gone. Instead, look forward towards what’s to come!
No matter what the circumstances, don’t hurt others. Don’t be mean. You never know what the next person is going through. If you can’t say a nice word or do something pleasant, it’s best to remain silent. There’s so much evil in the world today, you don’t need to add to it!
Don't be overly sensitive and take things too personally. At times, people behave the way they do because of the burdens they’re carrying. Be kind. Try and put yourself in their shoes and empathize. If you can’t, be nice and don’t hurt them. You’ll have a more peaceful life!
Whenever you find someone who brings out the best in you, stay connected to them! They’re a rare breed. Today, too many are preoccupied with bringing others down. Normal people don’t do that. It’s the insecure ones who have to make excuses to put others down to feel confident.
