Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
This is what we call “foggy irrigation.”
Step inside one of our hydroponic fodder units in Rwanda and you’ll notice something: every tray sprouts evenly, row after row, shelf after shelf.
The secret is a fine mist that waters the fodder at the right time, in the right amount. No guesswork, no missed watering, no human error. The result is uniform sprouting, healthy growth and good weight gain of the fodder.
At UKC, this is what technology extension means to us. We not only install the system but also walk with farmers all through.
Why does it matter?
Feed all year round. Dry season or rainy season, farmers can access quality fodder without depending on the weather.
Fast, bulky fodder. It matures quickly and can be used fresh, or as raw material for silage, pellets and mash.
Jobs for young people. More and more youth are finding opportunity in this industry, and agriculture is starting to look like the future to them.
Feed is the biggest cost and the biggest challenge in livestock farming. When we solve feed, we give farmers stability, and a stable farmer builds a stronger dairy and meat sector for Rwanda.
If you are a farmer, cooperative, investor or development partner who wants to see this technology up close, our team would be glad to welcome you.

@AugustCohen4@realErikDPrince Well Iraqi insurgents are very different from M23 , those are SONS and daughters of kivu ,fighting for their survival, parents and ancestral lands. They've been stateless for long
@AugustCohen4@realErikDPrince Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, there is always a first time. Even the Romanian mercenaries thought Eastern Congo was gonna be a walk in the park.
#DRC: A setback for Mssr @realErikDPrince in eastern #Congo. But I would stress to those of you cheering this that this mercenary faced far greater setbacks with Iraqi insurgents and, eventually, prevailed. And that is why his services remain in high demand.
My thoughts are with the people of @MusanzeDistrict, GOICO investors, businesses operating in the building & everyone that has suffered loss.
We thank God that no lives were lost.
The people of Musanze are known for their resilience, hard work & unity. We will emerge stronger
We would like to address this misinformation campaign. Eric Prince’s mercenaries did not go to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to defend Christians or stop a genocide.
On June 19th of this year, PoliScoop conducted an investigation in Minembwe, as evidenced by the quoted tweet. Eric’s men were actually assisting the DRC government in exterminating one of the most devoted Christian communities in the world. These communities are known as the Banyamulenge. As President Tshisekedi was being invited to Washington for a prayer breakfast, some Americans were helping him bomb churches in Minembwe.
It is important to note that Minembwe has no mines at all. It is simply inhabited by minority Congolese Tutsi, cattle herders & pastors mainly. @MarioNawfal@CollinRugg
Tim Kennedy's Congo ambush is a bigger story than one firefight.
On September 17, a team from Vectus Global, the company linked to Blackwater founder Erik Prince, was ambushed while traveling between locations in South Kivu, eastern Congo. Reuters reports about 20 people were killed or wounded, including at least seven Congolese and Justin Conaglen, a former New Zealand SAS lance corporal who left the military in August. Tim Kennedy, a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier and former UFC fighter, was shot three times in the leg. A second foreign contractor was also wounded.
The team was reportedly a three-man element accompanying Congolese soldiers. The wounded waited hours for evacuation, and Prince's officials were reportedly still searching for aircraft after the shooting started. Kennedy was taken to Burundi, then Johannesburg, then Walter Reed. The New York Times reports seven Colombian contractors working for Prince died in a separate battle earlier that month.
The contract was signed in December 2024 and runs five years, through Congo's finance ministry. It was pitched as a mining-revenue project with a "mining police." A UN Group of Experts later found a covert military side, including advice to Congo's army, aircraft and the recruitment of former foreign troops. By February, Vectus said Kinshasa had asked it to help plan the retaking of Uvira. Because the deal runs through civilian ministries, UN experts found no public decree explicitly authorizing a combat role.
Nobody has officially identified the attackers. Three sources point toward Rwandan forces backing M23, and one says they may have tracked a Vectus drone back to the team. Rwanda denies backing M23. Claims of a Russian role are unsupported.
As recently as 2025, Kennedy was a part-time Maryland National Guard soldier. His status when he took the job, and how a wounded contractor ended up at Walter Reed, haven't been explained. That doesn't imply misconduct. New Zealand has opened an investigation into Conaglen's death.
Neither Kennedy nor Vectus has commented. All of this is reported from sources and not officially confirmed.
@specialopsmag Why point to Rwanda while DRC conflicts started 60s. People needs to stop scapegoating & gaslighting #Rwanda and look into the root causes.
@AmericanCuler@CollinRugg Because the government is terrible at taking care of its people, and Erik Prince is great at taking care of his people. Simple as that.
My students in New York, (aged between 18 and 20 something) spent a year telling me that they had sent out hundreds of CVs, but that they had received no responses - not even from McDonald's or cleaning companies. NOTHING!
In Paris, my teacher friends are leaving the city because they can no longer afford their rent or bills. Things that used to cost 3 or 4 euros now cost 7 or 10 euros. This is a GLOBAL crisis. Be angry with capitalism, but for God's sake direct your anger at the structures and countries that actually hold the power.
